  • 3 Tbl Kewpie Mayo
  • 1 Tbl Horseradish Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Truff Hot Sauce
  • 2 Dashes Maggi Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper

2 C Rice

    Instructions

    • Start by slicing the tilapia filets in half then cut into one-inch-wide pieces. Season with salt and black pepper then set aside. Next in a small bowl mix together all the ingredients from the breading list. Once everything is mixed well toss in the tilapia and thoroughly coat each piece of fish.
    • Next you are going to want to cut up all the vegetable and herbs. Julienne the white onion, mince the garlic, Thai chilis and fresh herbs and trim the stem end off the green beans.
    • Set aside the onion, Thai chili, and half of the garlic. Mix the rest of the garlic and the herbs with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add in the salt and black pepper.
    • After everything Is incorporated in the oil add the green beans and mix one more time. We like to let these marinade for a half hour or so, but you can cook them right away if you would like.
    • While the fish and the green beans or absorbing all that good flavor grab a small bowl and mix up the spicy mayo and make the rice. Then preheat your oven to 400°. Grab yourself a sheet tray and line it with parchment paper or aluminum foil, this is not necessary but make clean up that much easier.
    • Once the oven is up to temp spread you marinated green beans out in an even layer on your sheet tray and toss in the oven to roast. About 8-10 minutes depending on your oven.
    • Grab a medium sized sauté pan and add two tablespoons of olive oil, place over a burner set on medium high heat and allow a minute or two for the oil to become hot. When the oil is ready gently place your breaded pieces of your hot mustard and curry breaded tilapia in the pan. These cook quick and you will only need one to two minute per side. After the tilapia pieces are nice and browned remove them and place them on a plate covered with a paper towel to help absorb any excess oil.
    • Once you have removed the fish add in the white onion and cook for one to two minutes, until they start to become translucent. Next add in the minced garlic and the Thai chilis and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook an additional minute or two then add the fish back in, gently mix everything together. After everything is incorporated removed the fish mixture from the pan and place on a plate.
    • By this time your green beans should be ready, so pull them out of the oven and toss them on a plate as well.
    • We like to eat this meal family style, so we prefer just to use a couple large plates for the fish and the green beans then have a small bowl on the side for rice.
    • That’s it, now all you need to do is grab the spicy mayo and dig in!

    Notes

Side Note: You can plate this up all fancy like, but we think it is far more fun just to lay it all out and dive in, after all sharing is caring.
