Located on Flamingo, just east of the strip, Bar Code Burger is a sports bar featuring a mighty selection of unique and imaginative burgers. To be honest, when isn’t a mighty burger the answer to all one’s troubles?

We first stopped in on a football Sunday and this place had a great vibe. Tons of TVs with the volume on so you can watch and listen to your favorite team. They even allow you to reserve tables so you can guarantee a perfect spot for your party during any game.

Now, let’s talk burgers. The unique burgers at Bar Code definitely do not skimp on ingredients or flavor either!

I enjoyed the Hangover Burger. Aptly named, this bad boy is loaded with bacon, American cheese, tomato, their code sauce, crispy onions and topped with an over-easy egg. For those of you who know, this meal would be the best the morning after a fun evening. Given the option, I went ahead and added a side of jalapeños per our servers suggestion and man was it the delicious, messy, but totally addictive sandwich I’ve had in a long while.

My wife made easy work of the Green Chili Burger. This beauty was layered with roasted poblano pepper, pickled jalapeño, avocado, chipotle mayo, habanero jack cheese and of course crispy onions – another amazing flavor combo and had us going right back for more. Both burgers came with super crispy golden brown fries and a classic side of ketchup.

Paired with your favorite beverage or two Bar Code Burgers really hits the spot and is one of our favorite burger spots in Las Vegas.

That said, don’t think that just because it says burgers that is all they do.

Nope.

Taking a gander at their online menu ( triggered by QR code ) welcomes a variety of eaters. Bar Code also has a variety of sandwiches, salads, tacos, wings appetizers and so much more. Including a funnel cake dessert, and a kids menu.

Whether you are in the mood to watch your favorite game while sipping a cold one or just in the mood for a killer burger, Bar Code Burgers will certainly not disappoint. Neither will their bar. Lots to choose from in bottles and plenty of draft options, they also have wine and, of course this being Vegas, a cocktail list. The happy hour runs from 3p-6p and offers great deals on both beverage and sustenance.

Grab your significant other, some friends or just yourself and head on over, the excitement won’t start until you arrive.

A pro tip when embarking on an adventure is it’s always smart to have the right gear. So, we put together a short list of essential items for walking around Las Vegas

First, a great pair of comfortable shoes are a life saver.

Secondly, a good water bottle. If your going to be eating, drinking and shopping all day long, you need to stay hydrated. Especially in the desert!

Third, grab yourself a little flask and hit the liquor store. If you play your cards ( 😉 ) right, you’re going to want a beverage or two to keep you fueled on your journey. So save yourselves a ton of money on expensive shots and bring your own! A huge plus here is there is no open container law so you can take a little sip anywhere.

Fourth, a good day pack. Something small, light weight and discreet but big enough to hold your essentials and any other goodies you may find on your adventures through the Grand Canal Shoppes. The less you have to carry, the more energy you’ll have for fun!
